Their menu features a tempting selection of pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and outstanding coffee made with carefully selected Proud Mary beans.
They also cater, bringing their delightful offerings to offices and events around the city. During a recent visit, the Stamp Me team had the pleasure of tasting their expert brews, and enjoying a selection of their gorgeous pastries (which the Stamp Me office crew devoured!).
The Brief
In early 2023, Merriment Cafe was looking for a way to connect and convert the constant foot traffic into loyal, repeat customers.
They decided to partner with Stamp Me to create a robust digital stamp card program that transforms everyday coffee runs into rewarding experiences.
Key Objectives
Together with Stamp Me, Merriment Cafe aimed to:

Merriment Cafe's loyalty program provides two distinct stamp cards that cover their coffee products and food items, appealing to all customers.
Their Coffee Card entices coffee lovers with a classic "Buy 5 Coffees, Get the 6th Free" offer. To make it even more appealing, new members receive a free stamp just for signing up, giving them a head start towards their reward and providing immediate value.
For those who can't resist Merriment Cafe's delicious sandwiches, there's the Sandwich Card. With this card, customers can "Buy 9, Get Your 10th Free," rewarding their loyalty and encouraging repeat purchases.
By offering these two distinct cards, Merriment Cafe effectively caters to different customer preferences, ensuring there's a rewarding loyalty program for everyone.
Promotion
For stamping, Merriment Cafe utilizes the StampPod™ as its primary method. This smart device sits comfortably on their POS countertop and works using 'tap and go' technology.
Customers simply tap their phone on the pod to collect a stamp after making a qualifying purchase. This method keeps stamping safe and secure, while also minimizing contact and speeding up the stamping process.
The StampPod™ is perfect for any physical business, including cafes, as it offers a seamless and secure way to issue stamps even during peak hours.
To successfully promote their loyalty program, they have created an eye-catching custom poster that seamlessly matches their branding.
This poster prominently displays their unique join code at their POS, which customers can easily scan to join the program. A quick scan of the QR code with a phone camera prompts customers to download the Stamp Me app or, if they already have it, open the app and automatically join Merriment Cafe's stamp cards.
