The Brief
Cafe Delice approached Stamp Me in 2016 with the objective of creating a digital loyalty program specifically tailored to reward their frequent cafe-goers, while simultaneously enticing new customers to become regulars.
Recognizing the omnipresence of traditional punch stamp cards in cafes, Cafe Delice aimed to innovate by creating a digitized version, that not only appeals to their tech-savvy customers but also streamlines the customer experience in their cafe.
Additionally, they wanted to gain access to valuable customer data, to better understand their demographics, preferences, and behaviors, which would empower them to create tailored promotions and offer superior customer service experiences.

Loyalty Program Works
Launched in 2016, the Cafe Delice loyalty program is simple and straightforward, allowing for easy access and participation from all their customers, whether they are long-time regulars or newcomers stepping into the cafe for the first time.
Once customers have downloaded the Stamp Me app, they simply search for the business or scan the QR code to join the program. Once they do, they will receive a sign-up reward: a free coffee of their choice. This is a great way to incentivize customers to join the loyalty program and engage with it, as they see immediate value and a compelling reason to join.
From there, customers work through the stamp card, collecting nine stamps and receiving a free coffee on their next visit.
Once a customer completes a stamp card, it resets so that they can continue their loyalty journey and keep stamping.
The Stamp Me app’s user-friendly interface makes it easy for Cafe Delice customers to track how many stamps they have collected and to see how many more purchases are needed to earn their next free coffee. This interactive, engaging feature fosters a sense of anticipation and satisfaction in the customer’s journey, encouraging regular visits and greater loyalty to Cafe Delice.

How Rewards are Redeemed
Once a customer accumulates nine stamps, a digital voucher is automatically added to their app, triggering an in-app notification. When ready to redeem the reward in-store, the customer presents this voucher to a staff member.
Enhanced with an animation and a three-minute expiry countdown, these digital vouchers are designed to maintain a high level of security and prevent misuse from screenshot attempts, ensuring a secure reward system for staff and customers.
Results
With over 8,000 stamps issued and over 900 redemptions since it started in 2016, the humble Cafe Delice loyalty program is an example of a retention program that is customer-centric and built to last.
