How Do I Train My Staff About The Loyalty Program?

Your staff are your loyalty program ambassadors and the key to the success of your program.

Therefore it’s important staff are not only familiar with how Stamp Me works to encourage sign-ups, but can also troubleshoot and advise customers in the instance of any problems.

That’s why we provide useful resources and tips in order to assist you with training your staff:

1. Explain the loyalty program

First of all, it’s essential to announce your new loyalty program and convey why you have set one up. It will help your staff to understand the importance of its success.

Walking them through the app step-by-step and face-to-face is an ideal way to give an overview of how the loyalty program and app works.

Scheduling weekly or monthly staff meetings or refreshers are very beneficial. Relaying the latest sign-up and redemption stats is a great way to make your employees feel part of the process and keeps the momentum going.

2. Encourage staff to download the app

Probably the best way for staff to get to grips with the app is for them to download and use it themselves.

You could even set up a private offer just for staff so that they are able to collect stamps and redeem special rewards that are not available to the public.

That way, they will be much more comfortable ‘selling’ the program to your customers because they use it themselves!

3. Display this cheat sheet

This staff cheat sheet will help walk a customer through the sign-up process and troubleshoots the most common problems or error messages a customer may have.

Make sure you print at least one these to be displayed in a staff room and one beside the POS for quick referencing.
