Why Is My Customer Having Problems Joining My Offer?
Here are a few common troubleshooting issues if your customer is having difficulties joining your offer.
1. Location settings are off
In order for customers to discover an offer to join using the ‘Explore New Offers’ feature, they need to have their device location services on. If they have previously blocked Stamp Me from accessing their location, they need to go into their settings and grant permission.
If their device location settings are off, the list will only show businesses around their last known location, which may not be where they are.
2. No network connection
Phones must be connected to 3G, 4G, 5G or Wi-Fi in order to operate the Stamp Me app. Flight mode must be turned off.
3. Phone camera screen is dirty/cracked
If a customer is joining your offer by scanning a JoinCode and their camera screen is dirty, damaged or cracked, this can prevent clear registering of the code.
They should enter your alphanumerical join code instead, if one was provided, or login to their Stamp Me app on an alternative device.
